Caring for your wood is IMPORTANT! We finish each piece with Mineral Oil, Beeswax and Carnuba Wax. This ensures your wood is nourished and shines. If your wood needs a refresher, see the below products as a suggestion. 


Beeswax and Carnuba Wax 

We love to finish all our wood with Carnuba wax and Beeswax. Our favorite brand for all around wood care is Howard Feed-N-Wax. This is available at most local hardware stores and online retailers. 

Mineral Oil 

Before we finish our wood with Carnuba wax and Beeswax, we start with a nice layer of Mineral Oil. This is a great option to bring the shine out of freshly sanded wood.

Acetone for Purple Heart Wood

Acetone is a great way to help binrg out the natural purple color in your Purple Heart Wood. To bring out the strong hues of purple in this wood, rub acetone over the whole piece and let it sit out under UV light.
